Colmers Hill and the Milky Way, Oil on 12”x16” deep edge canvas. 

This piece was dreamed up as we took our dogs on a daytime walk up Dorsets most iconic hill. As you can tell I love blue, which falls perfect alongside my love of the night sky. The lack of light pollution in Dorset allows us to see the sky in a completely different way to somewhere like London, where we lived when I painted this, if it’s not cloudy and raining that is! You’re not able to see the Milky Way this clearly but you can make it out with the naked eye and even get some stunning shots with long exposure photography! 

This painting does not come with a frame but can be hung without.
